Job Description

We are looking for a Junior JavaScript Developer who is willing to help with automation testing using Cypress and other JS frameworks. The ideal candidate will work on several projects to gain experience and will have the opportunity to learn and grow in the field of testing.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• 6 months to 1 year of experience in JavaScript development with knowledge of at least one of the following frameworks: React, Vue.js, Angular, or Node Express.
• Intermediate level of English language proficiency.
• Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to learn and adapt quickly in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

• Work with development teams to identify and write automated tests for web applications using Cypress and other JS testing frameworks like Mocha and Chai.
• Collaborate with QA engineers and developers to write test plans and test cases that cover new and existing features.
• Continuously improve the test automation suite and integrate it into the continuous integration and deployment process.
• Participate in code reviews, bug triage, and other activities that improve the quality of the software being developed.
• Work on multiple projects simultaneously and adapt to changing priorities as needed.

Nice to have:

• Familiarity with automated testing frameworks like Cypress, Mochaor Chai is a plus.

Salary:

The salary for this position is 100% in USD. The final rate will be defined with the ideal candidate according to their experience and the value they can contribute to the project.
